... Our World ...

Some people are as reliable as sunrise and sunset ...
you can see it in their smile and feel it in their handshake.

Happiness is something they've created for themselves ...
you can tell that their lives are rewarding and fulfilling.

With loving spirits, vision to see what is possible, and
working for what is achievable ... life in this world is an
achievement of worthwhile proportion.

... REALITY ...

It is possible to be weak or disadvantaged in many ways ...
but one important way, is not having had to struggle.
Hardships and experiences make people what they are.

Talk is by far one of the most accessible of all pleasures.
it doesn't cost any money, is all profit/benefit ...
it provides our education, helps to find and foster friendship,
and can be enjoyed as a planned activity or purely spontaneous.
Talk can be enjoyed anywhere at any time, by man, woman, or child.

A top-rate education and excellent career preparation can be
obtained at colleges and universities other than a person's
"first-choice" school. The opportunity for a good education,
one of life's great experiences, rests with the student.

... It's a Small World ...

The reality of any place, is what people think of it,
and later remember about it.

One very small rural town had tourists show up unexpectedly
on a day when the local citizens were having a parade
to celebrate a local event.

As the tourists stood quietly, watching what was going on,
a local resident greeted them warmly. "Friends," he said,
"We're really glad to have you here today. Everyone in town
is in this parade, and there was no one left to watch."

That day, the local people and the tourists all ended up
becoming friends and having a pleasant and memorable day.

At a small town Post Office, a woman asked for a book of stamps,
and requested "pretty ones". The clerk reached into a drawer
and took out a book of American Flag stamps. Sliding them
across the counter, he made the comment with a smile,
"You can't get them any prettier than this." Smiling in return,
the woman reached for the stamps and happily left.
