Enjoying an old Reader's Digest, this title came to mind.
I also found some clear meaning to this title ...
so come along and enjoy the people and actions ...
and some comparisons throughout passing years that come to mind.
Our lives are important ... they are all we actually have.
... There are Two ...
... things to worry about - one is that things may never
get back to "normal", and the other is that they have already.
...basic groups of people - "wishful thinkers" who throw coins
into fountains, and "realists" who fish them out.
... kinds of secrets - those not worth keeping,
and those that are too good to keep.
... kinds of statistics - the kind you look up,
and the kind you make up.
Life often seems to have different meanings ...
Noticing an elderly fisherman sitting on a stool with an idle
fishing rod, the passing teen greeted him with "Having any luck?"
The answer - "well, I suppose so," with a loud sigh,
then he continued, "I haven't fallen in yet."
Life has many lessons to share with us, IF we pay attention.
The closer we look at the world,
the more "beauty" and "wonder" we can see.
...
Nature has some IMPORTANT things to teach us, if we pay attention.
...
Helping and sharing with others is the best way
for all of us to achieve our goals and destinations ...
be less self-serving and reach out more to those around us ...
and also be willing to graciously "accept"
the offer of help from others.
...
Focus on what you do best, and success will follow.
...
We often see only the things that we are looking for ...
we sometimes see them where they are not.
...
Life is a map of uncharted territory ...
and it reveals it's story one moment at a time.
...
How a person "masters" his/her fate, is more important
than what the fate actually is.
The key to the stairway, may be whether we're trying to
go up or down ... then again the key may be how much attention
we pay to what's going on around us, and how we respond.
